New Student Checklist
- Call EAS and set up an appointment before Orientation, placement exams or classes begin
- Attend New Student Orientation
- Meet with the EAS Learning Specialist
- Bring appropriate disability documentation
- Request accommodations
- Register early for your classes
- Take accommodation letters to your professors
- Bring books and syllabus to EAS at least 3 weeks prior to classes to be placed in alternative format
- Arrange for equipment, aids, interpreters/CART reporters or other materials as needed
- Arrange for alternative testing
- Get involved with ABLE - Students with a Disability group
- Become a mentor
